Quick Maths

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 19 May 2026

The short version.

Quick Maths has no account and no sign-up. Your scores, streaks, best times and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us — we don't run a server.

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects some device data to serve those ads. You can opt out of personalised ads through the iOS tracking prompt at any time.

1. Who we are

Quick Maths ("the app", "we", "us") is an iOS puzzle-game app containing three mini-games — Make 24, Krypto and Nerdle. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. Questions: pinyinpals@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

None. Quick Maths has no account, no login, no profile and no contact form inside the app. We never ask for your name, email or any personal detail.

Information stored only on your device

The app saves the following locally, in the iOS app sandbox (UserDefaults). It never leaves your device and we cannot see it:

Deleting the app removes all of this permanently.

Information collected automatically for advertising

The free version of Quick Maths displays banner ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. See Google's Privacy Policy and the AdMob data-disclosure information.

3. App Tracking Transparency

On first launch iOS shows Apple's tracking permission prompt.

You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. EU / UK / Switzerland consent

Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent message (the User Messaging Platform) before personalised ads are served, as required by GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Your choice governs whether ad partners may process your data.

5. Children's privacy

Quick Maths is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account system, we hold no personal data about any user. If you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, contact us and we'll help.

6. Data retention & deletion

We hold no data on any server, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To erase everything the app stores, delete the app from your device. To request deletion of advertising data held by Google, use Google's privacy controls.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California) you have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Since Quick Maths keeps no personal data and runs no server, the practical steps are:

8. Security

Because no personal data leaves your device and we operate no account system or server, there is no central database that could be breached. On-device data is protected by iOS's standard app sandboxing.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we'll update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in an app update's release notes.
